well said on Ji Woon and your post. He is starting to act like a chaebol and having the same pride as them. You’d think Grandpa would appreciate him more.Īnyways, I'm thrilled So Dam is getting so much love. At least he’s not rebellious, like Ji Won. At least he’s doing something productive, unlike Hyun Min. It’s a pity Grandpa doesn’t value that and just calls him a good-for-nothing. He runs to see if Grandpa is okay even if it means breaking his schedules. Both times he’s been summoned by Lee his first thought is that Grandpa fell ill. I do feel sorry for him though because he seems to the only one who genuinely cares for Grandpa out of the three cousins. Seo Woo is still not a very central character. Although, it takes two to tango so Ji Won has the power to put a stop to it but he doesn’t. I guess what I’m getting at is that Hye Ji seems to be someone who can potentially help Hyun Min but I don’t want it to happen at the expense of her dignity. I don’t mind if Hye Ji sticks to him because she realizes he’s hiding behind a facade and thus wants to help him find his way back. However, in this episode she said she believed Hyun Min was still the person he was years ago, not the disgusting player she was seeing now. And I still feel the same if we’re talking about a love line between the two. Since episode one all I wanted was for her to value herself and just forget Hyun Min.

Hopefully, Ha Won also works some of her magic on Grandpa. It seems like he only sees potential heirs in them. He wants his grandchildren to bond but from what I’ve seen so far he doesn’t seem to sincerely love his grandsons for who they are. In this respect, Grandpa is a rather low individual. He doesn’t care if he’s hurting his grandson in the process he just wants him back whatever it takes. He can ‘throw’ money at a poor girl to get rid of her. Although he’s convinced he’ll never be chaebol Kang Ji Won, he has harvested some characteristics of the rich he abhors.Īlso, although Grandpa is funny, his way at getting Ji Won to go back to Sky House is really cruel. Now that he’s rich he can ‘throw’ his money around and force an apology out of someone. I like how this ties in perfectly with Ha Won’s words on how rich people can throw money around so easily, something not everyone can do. It was done with a good intention but this is the behaviour that made his friends feel awkward. Then as if it were no big deal he said he’d pay for both cars’ repairs. In episode one he crashed the two cars to shut up the annoying customer. I do find it interesting that although Ji Won hates people who get bought off with money and just the chaebol lifestyle overall, he’s unconsciously started to act like a chaebol.

CINDERELLA AND FOUR KNIGHTS DRAMA DEEP MOVIE

Has anyone of you seen the 2005 low-budget movie 'Hoodwinked'? It's a parody twisting typical fairytale elements into a crime procedural, thriller comedy and the main character is Little Red Riding Hood who works for a bakery and is delivering her goodies with her red delivery bike as well. And actually CA4K were not the first ones incorporating this joke into a fairytale reference. So I really liked this ironic take on Little Red Riding Hood shown within this scene. I'm not sure whether the English natives on here ever thought about it, as I know that the fairytale's title should be understood figuratively as the name of cape she's wearing, but as a non native speaker I always wondered why the original German title 'Rotkäppchen' was translated as 'Little Red Riding Hood' as non natives could also understand it literally and no matter what Little Red Riding Hood never rode a horse or a horse carriage within the original fairytale, so why should she wear a cape intended for horseman. In anticipation of tomorrow's episode I would like to share something that stucked with me since watching episode 1 and pointing out the Little Red Riding Hood reference.
